I am so grateful that even though we've been getting A LOT of rain, my garden is still intact. Often a gusher will flow down the hill beside us and empty right into the garden, flooding it and washing everything away. Of course, that could still happen, but so far, so good, and we hope to fix our drainage problem soon and guarantee it won't ever happen again. Grow, little plants, grow!
So this is what it looked like last June when we had a downpour! Water came right through the ties in our retaining wall.
