I am grateful that I have the time to sit and wait for Mrs. Cardinal to be brave enough to come to the feeder and eat while I'm sitting at the window with my camera pointed at her! :-) My waiting finally paid off. The bad news...I was really waiting for MR. Cardinal. He was brave enough to come to the shrub in front of the window, but not to get up on the feeder so I could snap a shot of him!
UPDATE: Mr. showed up not too long later! I'm glad I decided to keep watching and waiting...again. It paid off the second time!
