I am grateful today for the satisfaction of looking out into my back yard through CLEAN windows! And it was SO easy with my Norwex cloth and polisher. Just water...no cleaners! :-)

I am grateful today for boys who love to swim! They do so well at it...are very willing to learn things and seem to be so at home in the water. I'm glad...because I never was! :-)

Yes...he was purposely doing a bellyflop! Silly kid!

Logan is in swim lessons right now and loving it!

I was so grateful this morning while I was in my flower garden. I had my camera and was down on my knees taking shots of a little white butterfly on my oregano. As I waiting for it to return after flitting away, I just closed my eyes and let nature soak in. I listened for the bird songs, felt the soft breeze and was so thankful for God's beautiful creation...once again!!!!!

I am very grateful today that a day is only 24 hours long and daylight hours are followed by hours of darkness in which I can rest and be renewed. My boys are getting sick of each other and I'm getting sick of that! Makes me very grateful and appreciative of the times when they are calm and well-behaved and sweet to each other. :-)

I am so grateful for a wonderful friend who invited me to see a beautiful garden today! And fed me coffee cake since I ran out of time to eat breakfast this morning! What a delightful morning!

Well, my posts have been few and far between during this busy summer, but I'm not giving up entirely. Back at it again... :-)

Today I am grateful for air conditioning and a comfortable home in which to escape this crazy summertime heat! It's okay to be outside in the early mornings and late evenings, but even the other morning I got very dehydrated just working outside in the garden. I came in around 10 and couldn't do anything until I had downed some cool, refreshing water! I should've been drinking while I was working outside.

I am grateful today for a delightful summertime meal of hamburgers, corn on the cob, fresh garden beans, and grilled potatoes. Sounds like a meal for the 4th, doesn't it? Well, we would've, except for a slight problem with the grill ending up with no propane as we went to start it up last night to grill the burgers. And of course, every store is out of it! But our 4th of July celebration didn't lack for anything and what's the big deal if the burgers are a day late? They were still yummy! Thanks for grilling, honey! :-)

I am grateful for a quiet, beautiful morning. We stayed up late watching fireworks last night and the boys are still sleeping! Hope they keep it up.
