#16 I'm grateful that there is a beautiful gardens nearby where I spend lots of time practicing my photography on very willing subjects...flowers! :-) It was such a beautiful fall day today...and right on the lake, too. Gorgeous!

#14 Every time I see a Monarch, like this fellow who stopped by today to drink from my garden on his way to Mexico, I thank God for creating something so beautiful and delicate.

Monday: I am grateful that my boys have learned to appreciate beauty in nature. Tonight they ran inside to tell me, "Mom, the clouds are really cool tonight!" Love it!

I am grateful for a full guest book! We have a special tradition at our house...we only use one page per guest visit so we have room for a picture! Helps to make special memories. So if you come to our house, get ready to say cheese! :-)

I am grateful that I inherited enough of a green thumb to be able to raise a blooming violet! Both my mother and my mother-in-law are good at it!

Sunday: I am grateful that my husband doesn't think I'm crazy for raising butterflies. (Though he does wonder if it keeps me from getting my housework done sometimes.) :-) Here he is releasing a Monarch...finally got him out there.
